Publish interactive GIS maps on your website
gis2web publishes interactive maps from geographic data and embeds them in a website or application. It is designed for teams that need to share an inventory, network or map without building their own viewer.
Start with your data
Identify the layers you want to publish and their sources: WMS/WMTS services, databases or geographic files. Check the coordinate system, attribute fields and who owns the data. Agree which information can be public and which requires restricted access.
From a layer to an embedded map
Configure layers, backgrounds, styles and tools in the gis2web backoffice. Define access for users or groups and publish the map. Your application can embed the viewer through an iframe and use the REST API and map component to integrate interactions.
Choose how to host it
gis2web is available as SaaS or on your own infrastructure, with white-label presentation. SaaS reduces the infrastructure you manage; an on-premise project needs an agreed deployment and maintenance scope. Source availability and data permissions still need to be checked in either model.
Example: share a geographic inventory
A team can publish an inventory layer, choose the attributes displayed when an asset is selected and embed the map in its existing site. Begin with a representative sample and check the appearance, permissions and interactions before publishing the complete inventory.
