Connect your ERP with maps and field workflows
Vidrosoftware develops GIS modules, field applications, data connectors and workflow automation that complement existing business systems. Start with a specific manual process and define the information each system must exchange.
Describe one complete process
Identify the trigger, the people involved and the expected result. For example, a work order created in an ERP may need a map location and a field record. List the information currently copied manually and the system responsible for each field.
Check the integration boundaries
Provide available API documentation, authentication requirements, data formats and a sample of the records to exchange. Agree how assets are identified across systems, the direction of updates and what should happen when a request fails. Supported operations depend on the interfaces available in your ERP.
Example: link a work order to an asset
An illustrative integration connects an ERP work-order identifier with a geographic asset and the field information needed to complete the job. Define which status and result fields should return to the ERP. This is a scoping example, not a claim of an existing connector for every ERP.
Validate before extending the scope
Agree acceptance cases for successful updates, duplicates, missing assets and failed requests. Test with a limited data sample before expanding the integration. Share your ERP name, documentation and the manual steps with Vidrosoftware to assess feasibility and scope.
